Surrounding towns lost trees, power, etc. , but we were very lucky to only have flickering lights & rattling windows. This is the worst of our damage:

ReplyDeleteI'm glad you got lucky. My family got lucky, too. You read about the smashed clunker. I talked to my aunt, and it seems the insurance company is given her more (a lot more!) than what she expected for the old bucket of rust.
ReplyDeleteso glad you were left unharmed from the wrath of Sandy, so much destruction, Mother Nature is very powerful force to reckon with, wind is such a scary thing, no escaping it!
